Short answers to common questions about the budgeting guides and examples on this site.
Are the guides financial advice?
No. They are general educational material, not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. A budget that fits one household may not fit another.
Is there a downloadable budget template?
Not yet. The current site publishes guides and worked examples, not a template download or online budgeting tool. Do not expect a file or account after reading a guide.
How do I compare planned and actual spending?
Use the same categories in both periods, then subtract the planned amount from the actual amount. The comparison guide shows a worked table and a short review routine.
Can I reuse the examples?
Yes, for your own learning. The names and amounts are fictional. Replace them with your own verified figures and keep the currency consistent; do not present the example as a real household record.
Does the site connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank connection, upload or account area. You enter figures into your own spreadsheet or notes, if you choose to do so.
How do I report an error?
Email [email protected] with the page URL and a short description. Do not include bank statements, account numbers or identity documents.
For a first plan, read the monthly budget guide.
